Rhinomuraena quaesita

Ribbon eel, 62.5cm
These were usually seen stretching their narrow, ribbon-like bodies from holes
in the sand or rubble. Males are blue, females yellow (not figured) and juveniles
mostly dark brown. Our photos are from Padangbai and various sites in the Tulamben
area.
