These were found on muck sites in the Tulamben area. Although this is commonly figured as S. paegnius and the World Register of Marine Species lists it as valid, Orr et al (2002) state that "Orr & Fritzsche (1993) examined the holotype of S. paegnius and determined that it is S. cyanopterus." So probably it should be considered a hairy variation of S. cyanopterus.
