Laomenes sp. 3
10-15mm

Laomenes shrimp are associated with crinoids. They are highly variable in color, usually closely matching their host crinoids and making them difficult to identify from photographs. It is unclear how many species there are, and positive IDs probably require examination of actual specimens by an expert. This one looks as though it might be a variation of the one we are calling Laomenes cf albonigrus.
