These speckled Pontonides in both white and orange with their color matching their hosts were found on both Cirrhipathes and bushy black corals. Hoover (1999) figures an orange one from Hawaii as Pontonides sp. 2 and Marin (2007) says this "probably represent[s] a further undescribed species."
