The
large Triton's Trumpet is a predator on starfish and sea cucumbers. Although
it eats a variety of species, a favorite seems to be the cushion star Culcita
novaeguinea.
Preying upon a crown-of-thorns
starfish, Acanthaster planci.
This one was in the process of
consuming a Linckia multifora starfish.
