Colubraria obscura (Kiener, 1843)

Colubraria obscura is uncommon under rocks and in caves at night. The photo shows an empty young shell. Adults and living specimens can be seen on our Marshall Islands page. In the Marshalls they have been observed to feed by sucking blood or other body fluids from sleeping fish at night.
