This page covers the one Parrotfish that we photographed on one dive trip to Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi, Indonesia in late 2013. It is not a complete listing of the Scaridae that occur there but shows only the one for which we happened to get photos. Recent work puts the nearly always herbivorous parrots into the carnivorous family Labridae with the wrasses, but there still seem to be reasons to keep them separate.
