This page covers the Soapfish that we photographed on one dive trip to Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi, Indonesia in late 2013. It is not a complete listing of the Liopropomatidae that occur there but shows only the one for which we happened to get photos. WORMS places the species figured here in the Serranidae with the groupers but Fishbase uses Liopropomatidae.
