Aplysia reticulata Eales, 1960
100mm

This appears to be the widespread species Aplysia reticulata. Two found on 26 October 2015 were the first from Kwajalein. Both measured about 100mm and were found together slightly buried under a fine layer of sand in a lagoon Halimeda patch at about 20m. We have what appears to be the same species from Bali, Lembeh Strait and the Philippines (Anilao), although the Marshall Islands specimens are lighter in color.

Four similar-sized specimens were found half buried in sand in a lagoon slope Halimeda algae patch on 31 October 2016 at depths of about 10 to 12m.
