These Phyllaplysia were found on Cymodocea rotundata seagrass in Majuro lagoon by Raphaël Forns, who reported them common but easily overlooked. Although somewhat variable, the presence of these Phyllaplysia on the same seagrasses suggests to me that they are variations of a single species, which may also include what we are calling Phyllaplysia sp. e685 and possibly even Phyllaplysia sp. e703 from Kwajalein (although the apparent lack of the host seagrass at Kwajalein might argue otherwise). Closer examination of specimens or molecular data would probably be required for confirmation.
