Several specimens of this small Janolus were found nestled together under a branching bryozoan in shallow water on the lagoon side of Kwajalein Island by Christina Sylvester. Pattern on the mostly transparent dorsal paddles differed between the two, with one covered with small white spots and the other with a white network pattern.
