Flabellina angelvaldesi (Millen & Hermosillo, 2012)

Many specimens of this recently described species were found at Tulamben. While somewhat variable, they each had a purple line running down the dorsum.

The two below had anterior tentacles spotted with white.

Animals were often found associated with the hydroid shown below.

This one had an egg mass just to its right.

The purple line down the center of the dorsum and the proximity specific hydroids suggest this is an oddly colored Flabellina angelvaldesi.
