Many specimens of this recently described species were commonly found at various sites around Tulamben. While somewhat variable, they each had a purple line running down the dorsum. There has been some uncertainty regarding the genus, and it has also been considered a Flabellina.

The two below had anterior tentacles spotted with white.

Animals were often found associated with the hydroid shown below.

This one had an egg mass just to its right.

These were far less common on our November 2022 trip. Poor settling this year?

Again, fewer in November 2023 than on most earlier trips.
