Favorinus japonicus Baba, 1949
12mm

We found these at several sites near Tulamben. Like other Favorinus species, these prey on the eggs on other euthyneruan mollusks.

Below a Favorinus japonicus and F. mirabilis are both near a couple of small eolid egg masses.

Seeing a rather old and ratty looking pink egg mass of Hexabranchus sanguineus on the slope at Baturinggit, I took a closer look and found these two Favorinus eating the eggs.

These two were on a bubble egg mass at Tianyar.
