Bulakan is maybe 15 minutes east of Tulamben. It is the farthest we've gone east from Tulamben except for trips to Amed. A fairly long winding narrow road from the main road leads to a cobblestone beach next to a scenic pond. The diving is mostly on a dark sand slope with lots of frogfish and other muck dwellers. It is a relatively newly opened site, and has become popular quickly. Our first trip here was in October 2019.
