Atys semistriatus Pease, 1860

We have this one tentatively identified as Atys semistriata. They are found fairly often on algae and sand on lagoon reefs and pinnacles.

The specimen immediately below was photographed at Bubble Butt pinnacle at Enewetak Atoll at a depth of 10 meters at night. It measured 8mm in length. We saw a fair number of these in Hawaii.

The photos below were of specimens at night on a lagoon sand spit in Kwajalein Atoll.
