This also appears to be a species of Halgerda. It is possible this is a young individual of Halgerda dalanghita, but seemed different enough that we have kept it separate for now. It also resembles Halgerda sp. 4 on the Sea Slug Forum. Although it is not clear in this photo, the darker spots mostly on the sides of the dorsum were red-brown in color. The single specimen known was found under dead coral on a lagoon pinnacle at Kwajalein at a depth of 8 meters on 23 June 1982.
