Carminodoris bifurcata Baba, 1993
28mm

This species is rare in the Marshalls, known only from one specimen at Rongelap Atoll and several more at Kwajalein. All were found under dead coral on lagoon or seaward reefs at depths of 4 to 10 meters. The two photos below show a specimen from a Kwajalein lagoon Halimeda patch in about 8m of water on 29 October 2011.

Here is the Rongelap specimen, taken in June of 1983.
