Halgerda malesso is recorded in the Marshalls from two specimens observed at Enewetak Atoll. They were found together under dead coral on the seaward reef slope at a depth of 30 meters. Both specimens measured 24mm in length. The ova were yellow orange, 110 to 126µm in tightly crowded capsules 157 to 190µm in diameter. The mass, deposited in captivity in a flow-through sea table, was not a typical nudibranch coil but rather was put down as a straight ribbon, 25 to 30mm long and 1.5 to 2mm tall.
