Dendrodoris arborescens (Collingwood, 1881)
27mm

Although similar in color to Dendrodoris nigra, this individual differs in its wider, more expansive gills. While it could be a form of Dendrodoris fumata, it most closely resembles the figure of D. arborescens in Gosliner et al (2018), differing only in the pale rather than reddish mantle margin. This animal was found and photographed by John and Lynette Flynn at Rongelap Atoll, Marshall Islands.
