The small Polycera is so far known in the Marshall Islands from only four specimens found at Kwajalein. A 4mm specimen was under dead coral on a lagoon pinnacle, while a larger 7mm specimen figured below was in Halimeda algae along a lagoon reef.

The one below was under a rock on a shallow lagoon reef on 27 May 2012.
