Tambja morosa (Bergh, 1877)
80mm

Tambja morosa is rare in the Marshalls, known from only two specimens found at Kwajalein. The first photo below is a specimen from Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.

The specimen in the following two photos measured just over 80mm and was found exposed on dead coral at a depth of about 12 meters on a Kwajalein Atoll lagoon pinnacle.

The photo below is a specimen found and photographed near Kwajalein's Echo Pier in about 2m of water by Uday Sawant. We thank Uday for the use of the photo, and the estimated 125mm specimen is the largest we have heard of for this species.
