This species is known in the Marshalls from the single specimen below found under a rock on a western Kwajalein Atoll lagoon reef at a depth of about 5m on 29 August 2009. It measured 10mm in length. This specimen is figured in Gosliner et al (2018) as Goniodoris sp. 4. A slightly different looking form is known from the western Pacific, including the Philippines and Indonesia.
