Palio gaeli Pola, Miguel-González & Paz-Sedano, 2023
9mm

This specimens pictured below were seen on 3 April 2011. A few small white spiral egg masses were observed scattered about on tufts of algae attached to the edges of a rock that had been turned over. It took a few minutes of watching, but soon two of these little beasts crawled out of hiding and into view. The photos show the larger 9mm long specimen; the other measured about 5mm. Two more 9mm specimens that became the holotype and paratype were found on a large Kwajalein lagoon pinnacle on 15 September 2013.

Two more were found on a Kwajalein Atoll lagoon pinnacle on algae in a small ledge at a depth of about 8m on 8 September 2016.

These two specimens were found together under a rock on top of a large, flat-topped lagoon pinnacle at Kwajalein Atoll at a depth of 6 meters on 30 August 1992.
