Anemones and clownfish

We see quite a few large anemones with their symbiotic anemonefish (clownfish) in the Marshalls, but they are even more common in the passes and along the seaward reefs of Pohnpei. The first clown below is Amphiprion perideraion, the Apricot clown, in a purple-tipped Heteractis magnifica anemone.

The next shot shows Amphiprion clarkii in a Heteractis crispa. A. clarkii is not found in the Marshalls.
