This Goniobranchus is an undescribed species that is also found rarely in the Marshall Islands but is not too uncommon in Hawaii. The single specimen was found at Savo Island on a night dive on 20 August 1987. Although superficially similar to Goniobranchus reticulata and Goniobranchus tinctoria, the many specimens I have seen in Hawaii have convinced me it is not the same.
