This unidentified species somewhat resembles Nembrotha lineolata but differs in some aspects of coloration, one of the most notable being rhinophore color. It appears to be what Gosliner et al (2018) call Nembrotha sp. 5. The single specimen was found at Linggatu Cove, Russell Islands, at night on 15 August 1987.
