We have seen several of these tiny chitons, under rocks in shallow water in the lagoon of Enewetak Atoll and along the Kwajalein Atoll seaward reef. We believe these are very young Cryptoplax elioti although that is not yet certain.
Below is a specimen from shallow water in Majuro Atoll found by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren.
