Colubraria brinkae Parth, 1992
35.0mm

This would appear to be Colubraria brinkae, known from the Philippines. It has been found on only one occasion at Kwajalein, where four specimens were found under a rock during the day on the seaward reef on 26 July 2004. We have not seen this one feeding, but suspect it parasitizes sleeping fish, the same as other species of Colubraria. Our living animal photos are all from rather low resolution Hi8 video.
