Conus viola Cernohorsky, 1977
Viola cone, 48mm

Conus viola is rare in the Marshalls. We have seen only a few specimens under rocks on lagoon pinnacles at a depth of about 10m. The shell is similar to Conus glans or C. tenuistriatus.

We currently do not have a photo of the living animal.
