Protoelongata dekkersi
(Herrmann, Stossier & Salisbury, 2014)
13.3mm
Protoelongata dekkersi is rare at
Kwajalein. Specimens have been found in seaward reef caves at night and empty
shells brought up in sediment samples from the steep seaward slope at depths
of 20m and deeper. It bears some resemblance to Protoelongata
rubrotaeniata, but is narrower and solid red-brown in color.
