Vexillum echinatum (A. Adams, 1853)

Vexillum echinatum is fairly common at Kwajalein, most often on shallow lagoon sand flats that have a growth of Halimeda algae. They have also been seen in seaward reef sand patches at depths of 3 to at least 45m.
