Vexillum michaui (Crosse & Fischer, 1854)

Vexillum michaui is very common to abundant at Kwajalein, found mostly in and on sand on lagoon reefs down to the lagoon bottom. At night, they crawl on the sand's surface. They have been seen from less than a meter to more than 40m depth. Specimens from the white coral sands in the Marshalls are much lighter in coloration than those from areas with darker volcanic sands.
