Vexillum millecostatum (Broderip, 1836)
29.9mm

Vexillum millecostatum is moderately rare at Kwajalein. Specimens can be found under rocks or in caves at night on lagoon pinnacles or the seaward reef at depths of 6 to about 20m. This species comes in two distinct color forms, the darker one less frequently seen.

This one is eating the animal out of a Tectus fenestratus shell.
