Vexillum salisburyi Cernohorsky, 1976

A small species, empty shells of Vexillum salisburyi are uncommonly found in samples of rubbly and sand brought up from the deep seaward slope. We have seen no living specimens. The species' namesake thinks the identification is questionable.
