Vexillum semicostatum (Anton,
1838)

This small Vexillum resembles Protoelongata
heleneae in color, but it is much smaller and seems to differ in details
of pattern and sculpture. They are not especially rare under rocks on the seaward
reef, but we do not have a photo of the living animal.
