Diodora octagona (Reeve, 1850)

The shell of Diodora octagona has larger axial ribs alternating with smaller ones. It is possible that all those figured below are not the same species, as the number of smaller ribs between the larger ones varies between the specimens. These are not rare under rocks on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs.
