Favartia cf tetragona (Broderip,
1833)
17.7mm
This
Favartia is only tentatively identified as F. tetragona. It
is rare in the Marshalls, known from only two specimens found empty at 13m on
the Kwajalein Atoll eastern seaward reef. It may be more common out there, but
weather conditions make this a difficult area to get to, and it has not been
thoroughly searched.
