Ricinella rubusidaeus (Röding, 1798)
39.4mm
Ricinella
rubusidaeus is common on a wide range of lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs.
The yellow and lavender aperture make the shell easy to identify. As is the
case with many of its relatives, the shell is usually encrusted, but when visible
is orange in color.
