Moerchiella cf antoni (Schwartz von Mohrenstern, 1860)

This looks as though it could be Moerchiella antoni, but the ID remains tentative. The empty shell immediately below appeared to be a juvenile specimen, and it was sorted from a sand sample brought up on the seaward reef from about 65m. The one on the reef was not collected, but looks like it was an adult. It was under a rock on a lagoon reef. The two records may not be the same species.
