Astralium rhodostomum (Lamarck, 1822)

Astralium rhodostomum is common on and under rocks on hard substrate on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs. It is possible there are multiple species here.

The hard calcareous operculum is pure white.

A very small juvenile.
