This page links to species in the family Tegulidae, commonly called top shells, that are known from Kwajalein. All species are grazers on algae, and some are among the more abundant larger snails on the reef. Formerly these were included in the Trochidae but moved due to DNA analysis to Turbinidae and then to their own family, Tegulidae. (Click on a thumbnail for pages with larger images.)
