Clavus
bilinearis (Hinds, 1843)
17.7mm
Clavus
bilinearis is moderately uncommon
at Kwajalein. It has been found from about 5 to 20m under rocks on
seaward, pinnacle and lagoon reefs. We have not seen this name anywhere in the
literature. Our identification comes from unpublished photographs taken of museum
type specimens by the late Dr. Alison Kay from the University of Hawaii.
