Clavus
sp. 5
This
small white shell is tentatively identified as a species of Clavus.
Two specimens have been observed, both under rocks at a depth of about
15m on the seaward reef.
Although similar in size, shape and color to the one we are calling Clavus sp.
14, the sharper axial ribs that extend across most of the body whorl would seem
to separate them.
