Eucithara
cf stromboides (Reeve, 1846)
10mm
This
is most likely the more common Eucithara
stromboides. This
one had a slightly pinkish shell, which could have simply been some fine algae
growing on it. It also seemed to have less pronounced points on the upper (posterior)
portions of the axial ribs. They seemed
just different enought to keep separate for now. This one was found on sand
during the day along the sand reef between Bigej and Meck Islands, Kwajalein
Atoll.
