variabilis (Hadfield
& Kay, 1972)
This
ID was based on animal coloration. These have been found on or under rocks on
the seaward reef and lagoon pinnacles.
Kay (1979) also reported them as common in a zone near the outer edge of windward
oceanside reefs in the Marshalls.
