Naria eburnea (Barnes,
1824)
Ivory-white cowry, 40mm
We saw Naria eburnea at
various sites in the Solomons, mostly while shore diving off Guadalcanal and
while drifting along on a night dive in Mboli channel in the Floridas. The pure
white shell always seemed too bright in photographs.
