Martensia elegans Hering, 1841

Martensia elegans is found sporadically on some seaward reefs. One reef near the north end of the seaward side of Gehh Island had a fairly abundant cover of variably colored clumps, usually in small ledges and crevices where it was partially shaded from direct sunlight.
