Antennatus linearis Randall & Holcom, 2001
Lined frogfish

To our knowledge, Antennatus linearis has been seen only once in the Marshalls, the specimen figure here from Majuro Atoll found and photographed by John and Lynette Flynn. The small frogfish was in a hollow under a rock in about 1m of water along an interisland reef at low tide. This species is rarely seen worldwide, with most records coming from the Hawaiian Islands, Indonesia and the western Indian Ocean.
