Epinephelus fasciatus (Forsskål, 1775)
Blacktip grouper, 40cm

Epinephelus fasciatus is common on seaward reefs, where it is often seen sitting on the reef or on coral at depths of about 8 to 30m. We have also seen them on some lagoon pinnacles.
