Marshall Islands Emperor Soapfish and Swissguard Basslets (Liopropomatidae)

Emperor Soapfish and Swissguard Basslets are related to the grouper family. There are two groups of soapfish, commonly called the soapfish and the emperor soapfish, both of which have the characteristic of being able to produce a toxin to deter predators but which are now split into two families.
